At the time of writing this is the third "Japanese style" tool box that I have built. The first was my main hand-tool toolbox, the second was a simple storage box for my large router. This one is to store my trim router along with its bits and accessories.
It is constructed of cypress with a plywood bottom. I use glue, and some normal and hand-forged nails to hold it together. The bit holder is spare poplar and the dividers are spare silver maple. This really is just a scrap bin special.
