Curated, Quality Tools
Embarking on a journey in craft requires quality tools and the know-how to assess them. Never Stop Building has partnered with Andrew Ren of Kanata Tools to offer exclusive, curated tool kits which fulfill the requirements for our classes and workshops. They will not be the lowest cost options, but they are hand selected and tested by one of the most accomplished kanna masters in the world. I like to say “buy once, cry once.” These tools will deliver results and are sourced directly from highly reputable companies and blacksmiths in Japan.
The contents of each kit are listed below, due to limited available quantities, at present these kits may only be purchased along with registration for a class or workshop.
Note that tools in italics are generic tools, generally available in hardware stores in Japan, but are included in the kits to round them out and for convenience.
Certain one off or expensive items like saws, masakari, chouna tools will be listed individually as options to purchase during course registration checkout.
