Daniel Pinder and Josh Slaby: Dawn Martial Arts Demonstration

Join Daniel Pinder and Josh Slaby as the sun rises for a Muso Shinden Ryu Embu martial arts demonstration!

In this demonstration they will show kata along with some explanations and application. Afterward they will discuss and explain the woodworking side and how it applies to our current practice along with opportunities for questions and answers.

Daniel is a full time finish carpenter and martial artist. Carpentry is his passion job and the pursuit of the Japanese method has been life changing.

His martial art journey has been a lifetime training in Iaido, kendo, kenjutsu, karate, judo, kyudo and sojutsu. Daniel has trained in Muso Shinden Ryu for over 20 years and is an Iaido sensei.

Josh Slaby

Josh has been training in various Martial arts for 18 years, and various sword styles for a decade. His love of Japanese swords and their fittings, inevitably lead to exploring the world of Japanese hand tools in order better maintain the swords used while training.  Hi considers himself a lifelong student, and is always looking to gain deeper knowledge those arts he studies.
